Medical Laboratory is looking for an administrator in one of its Satellite Sites in Germiston, Mulbarton (Alberton / Johannesburg South area), to assist with practice management focusing on pathology testing. It is a busy environment, and the success...Skills Required:English & Afrikaans-speaking – other African languages are an advantageHaving a medical background and being able to collect samples (bloods; urine, swabs etc.), with a focus on phlebotomy or nursingICD-10 coding experience required with the collection of medical bills for medical practicesCredit Control/debt collection within a medical bureau, performing collections on laboratory patient accountsStrong advantage will be given to individuals with background in Medical debt collections as well as experience in liaising with Medical Aid SchemesGood computer skillsGood money collection skillsGood accounting/bookkeeping skillsPrevious medical administration experience i.e. medical debitingBeing a strong person, able to work diligently on their own while still working as part of a teamQualifications:Matric as a minimum with preferable Biology, Science and AccountingValid Driver's license and own reliable transportWork hours will be Monday – Friday 0800 – 1700, with normal lunch and tea breaks. Saturday work will be required on a rotational basis.The successful candidate will report directly to Laboratory Management and will be required to look after the company's interests while working in the doctors' rooms.
