We are in search of a highly skilled and confident Independent Medical Practitioner, well versed in Emergency Medicine. The successful candidate should be comfortable managing a range of emergencies, from paediatric emergencies to toxicology and major trauma.
Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for managing patients in the emergency department and code blues in the hospital, ordering and performing investigations, stabilising patients, performing emergency procedures, and referring patients to the appropriate specialist if required.
Qualifications Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBCH/MBCHB)
Registered with HPCSA as an Independent Medical Practitioner
ACLS
PALS
ATLS
DA/DipPEC advantageous
Ultrasound proficiency advantageous
Professional medical indemnity mandatory
Start Date October 2024
