Medical Case Manager

The Medical Case Manager is responsible for managing and coordinating the medical care and rehabilitation of employees who have been injured or are ill.
The role ensures that employees receive appropriate medical care and supports their return to work as quickly and safely as possible, while also ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
Bachelors degree in nursing, Healthcare Administration, Occupational Health, or a related field Moderate to intermediate computer skills (essential) Basic understanding of the Occupational Health and Safety Act with regulations Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in case management, preferably in an industrial or mining setting Experience in coordinating medical care and rehabilitation for injured or ill employees Must be willing to travel as needed and work flexible hours to meet the needs of the employees and the company This role is primarily office-based but may require visits to employees, mining sites and healthcare facilities Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manual Mathematical acumen Reasoning ability to resolve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form Valid drivers licence and own reliable vehicle (essential)
