The Media Relations Specialist works directly in the office of the Vice President (Chief Brand Officer).Key Responsibilities:Maintenance of existing Media Relationships & Public Relations networksDevelopment of the Company's media & press networkSkills and Qualifications:Strong writing and verbal communication skillsExperience in public relations, journalism, or creative copywritingAbility to work under pressure and meet tight deadlinesMultitasking and context shiftingProficiency in media monitoring toolsCritical thinking and creativityAble to follow brand manual and take directionStrong execution skillsLocation:Val de Vie Estate, Paarl, Western CapeStart Date:ASAP (Pro Rata payment option for the month of January)Remuneration and Benefits:Basic Salary: R16,000 - R22,000 (Negotiable)R30,000 - R80,000 Performance bonus in July/August post-eventAnnual performance bonusOpportunity to become Head of Division in a specialized marketing unit such as Media, Content Creation or Public Relations in the near futureUIF covered by companyMedical Aid, Pension Fund & Tax managed by employee at own discretion
