Job Summary: The Media & Performance Manager role will focus on continuously analyzing and optimizing media strategies to enhance reach, engagement, conversion and ROI.
The resource will need to leverage data analytics tools to track and interpret key performance metrics across various platforms (TV, Radio, Digital media) The resource will also be responsible for all reporting and optimization of retail and digital media endeavors alongside the media agency partner.
The Media & Performance Manager will report to the Media and Digital Lead and will work cross functionally with the Brand Marketing, Agency Partners and retail teams to ensure that the Colgate-Palmolive is able to execute our commercial plans with excellence.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities : 1.
Develop and execute media strategies to achieve business goals: Stay updated on the latest digital marketing trends, technologies, and best practices.
Conduct competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats in the market Media Trend analysis & Training 2.
Drive media integration into brand experience planning: Coordinate with other marketing functions on Brand Growth Plans (BGP) Work closely with creative and content teams to develop compelling ad creatives and messaging.
Ensure coordination between Media, Brand Marketing & eCommerce teams to guarantee successful execution of media Media Agency Briefing & Coordination Collaboration & communication to various stakeholders Implementation CP Frameworks & recommended media guidelines 3.Campaign Management: Plan, Execute & KPI Tracking, Post Campaign Analysis Manage delivery of media flow plans alongside agency Oversee media tools & process 4.
Budget Management (Paid Media): Manage the media budget effectively to maximize ROI.
Track and report on spending to ensure campaigns remain within budget.

Media Analytics & Reporting: Analyze campaign performance data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement.
Provide regular performance reports to senior management, highlighting key metrics and ROI.
Benchmark Performance Problem solving mindset Required Qualifications: Bachelor Degree in Marketing or business-related field Minimum 4 years of experience in a Media buying, planning & strategy environment.
Strong understanding of ATL and Digital media Experience in Africa, outside of South Africa is a plus!
Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data, prepare and interpret reports, and communicate actionable results, findings, and recommendations.
Proficient in tools such as Google Analytics, Media planning tools (TV & Radio), Media buying systems Knowledge of Excel, graphs, and formulas Key Skills: Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of various digital advertising platforms and tools.
Project Management: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
