Mechatronics / Engineering Graduate looking to do P1 and P2Full-timeA local and nationally represented company specializing in the supply, installation, and maintenance of products for the vertical lifting industry is looking for a Mechatronics/Engineering Graduate who is interested in completing their P1 and P2 by assisting with servicing, preventative maintenance, and repair work on elevators and escalators.
This is a 4-year program. You will be required to write a test should you be shortlisted.
Training will be discussed in detail and includes:
Assemble, install, repair, and maintain lifts (passenger, goods, stair lifts) and escalators using hand and power tools, testing devices such as test lamps, ammeters, and voltmeters.Connect electrical wiring to control panels and electric motors.Adjust safety controls, counterweights, door mechanisms, and components such as valves, ratchets, seals, and brake linings.Check that safety regulations and building codes are met and complete service reports verifying the condition of lifts and conformance to standards.Locate malfunctions in brakes, motors, switches, and signal and control systems using test equipment.Willing to work planned overtime and after-hours standby schedule.Minimum Requirements: Diploma in Mechatronics EngineeringElectrical SkillsMechanical SkillsKnowledge of HydraulicsDriver's LicenseAll your information will be kept private and confidential.
