Mechatronics Engineer

Our client, a well-established and progressive FMCG manufacturing company based in Paarl, seeks to employ a qualified, organised, and experienced Mechatronics Engineer with a background in electro-mechanical systems used in a fast-paced FMCG environment.Please note this role is suited to a candidate who has a strong electro-mechanical and electrical design and PLC programming background.Key Requirements For ConsiderationYou will have completed a BEng or BSc degree in Mechatronics, coupled with 1-3 years of experience in electro-mechanical and electrical designs, as well as PLC programming (Siemens) and providing supervision at the installation and commissioning phase.You will have a solid track record in providing technical support and training for customers, as well as being available to problem-solve with field technicians.You must have working experience on servo drives in particular.Due to the requirement to travel extensively, both nationally and internationally.You must have a valid driver's license, a clear credit and criminal record, and your own reliable vehicle.Due to the exceptionally high volumes of applications, we are unable to correspond with each applicant personally; therefore, only relevant and suitable candidates will be contacted.
