Job Title: Mechatronics EngineerLocation: Airport City - Cape townSalary: Market relatedVacancy Type: Full-TimeClosing date for applications: End Dec 2024Non- negotiable qualifications and experience required:Bachelors degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.At least 3 years of experience in designing and implementing mechatronic systems.Proficiency in CAD software, programming languages (e.g., Python, C++), and PLC systems.Beneficial requirements:Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Familiarity with sensors, actuators, and control systems used in automation and robotics.Duties and responsibilities:Design, develop, and test mechatronic systems and components to meet project requirements.Integrate mechanical, electronic, and control systems to optimize system performance.Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in existing systems to improve reliability and efficiency.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions for automation and robotics.Prepare detailed documentation, including system designs, user manuals, and progress reports.
