Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including electrical, civil, and process engineers, to execute mining and process plant projects. Conduct technical assessments and contribute to the selection of equipment, materials, and mechanical systems. Develop technical documentation, reports, and specifications aligned with project requirements. Review vendor drawings and specifications to support procurement activities. Assist in project planning, scheduling, and cost control to ensure project milestones are met. Liaise with clients, suppliers, and contractors to support seamless project delivery. Participate in project reviews, progress meetings, and team discussions to drive outcomes. Ideal Candidate Profile: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (recently graduated or within 1 year of graduation). Previous exposure to mining, process plants, or heavy industry (internship or work experience) is advantageous but not required. Strong foundational understanding of mechanical systems, machinery, and industrial processes. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. Eager to work in a team-oriented environment and learn from experienced engineers. Willingness to travel and engage in fieldwork across remote locations in Africa.
