Position Overview: They are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Mechanical Engineer to join the team as a Plant Engineer.
This role is pivotal in ensuring the factory operates at peak efficiency while driving projects that enhance production quality and performance.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee the maintenance of all factory equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to enhance equipment longevity.
Support production teams in identifying and resolving mechanical issues to improve operational efficiency.
Lead projects aimed at improving production processes, efficiency, and product quality.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of engineering solutions into production workflows.
Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and recommend actionable solutions.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in all plant operations.
Manage budgets and resources effectively for maintenance and engineering projects.
Qualifications and Experience: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in the automotive or heavy equipment industry.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, maintenance practices, and process improvement methodologies.
Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
Strong leadership and project management abilities.
Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
