Mechanical Or Metallurgical Engineer

Requirements:
Must be a Graduate in Mechanical / Metallurgical Engineering
Have a minimum of 10 years experience in the industry.
Sales experience not essential but would be an added advantage.
Age 35+
Must be prepared to travel in Africa.
Must be prepared to relocate to Richards Bay.
Be able to effectively communicate at all levels.
Be fully computer literate.
Have experience in one or more of the following areas:

Manufacturing
Chemical
Mining
Steel / Aluminium

Have the ability to work and travel independently.
A driver's license is essential.
The successful candidate will be required to perform the following tasks:

Visit our customers to assist with problem solving, and to identify opportunities where the company products are a fit for our customers.
Maintain and build strong relationships with existing and new customers.
Be actively involved in overseeing manufacturing of products in our workshop, and to assist in ensuring quality and safety standards are maintained and improved.
Prepare quotations for customers.
Must be able to understand and interpret mechanical drawings.
Be able to prepare reports and presentations, and to present these to customers.
Log all opportunities and trip reports in Customer Relationship Management (CRM).
Visit customers locally, as well as limited travel to Mozambique and West Africa.
