Mechanical Fitter Assistant

Mechanical Fitter (semi-skilled)  / East London - Must have Valid Code 08 Drivers license, and working experience with steam pipes This role is responsible for assisting the lead technician with repairs, including gathering tools and parts, and performing other tasks to support the repair process
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Minimum of 2 years working experience as an Mechanical fitter
Must have extensive knowledge of all mechanical workshop tools, as will be responsible for organizing the tools and parts needed for each job
Well organized as will be assisting the Lead Mechanic
Experience with steam pipes, pipework, water reticulation, boiler maintenance and welding
Genuine team player
Strong communication skills in English
Of sober habits
Stable job history
Salary – R8,000 (negotiable based on knowledge and experience)
