Mechanical Engineer/Technologist

Well, our client wants you Theyre a reputable consultancy firm with a large presence across South Africa, consistently working on a diverse range of projects, and theyre looking for a Mechanical Engineer to be involved in the design, implementation and close-out of HVAC systems. If this sounds like the position for you, send us your CV today Requirements: · Minimum of 3 years experience. · Registered with ECSA as either a Professional or a Candidate. · HVAC design experience on data centre projects. · HVAC construction monitoring on data centre projects. · Experience using Revit and BIM360. · Wet Services and Fire Engineering Services experience advantageous. Duties & Responsibilities: · Design and commission HVAC systems in compliance with local and international standards. · Perform air conditioning heat load and ventilation calculations. · Utilize various HVAC design software packages (e.g., HAP, Loadest, I.E.S) and conduct manual air psychrometric analysis and design. · Conduct air, fluid, and heat flow calculations using specialized software and analysis tools. · Develop designs that meet client requirements and specifications. · Manage all project stages from inception to close-out, including the preparation and management of tender documentation.
