My client is seeking a talented Mechanical Design EngineerReference: NES017994-CM-1The ideal candidate will play a key role in the design and development of various vehicle components and systems, contributing to the advancement of our products. Responsibilities include:Duties & ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include:Designing and engineering vehicle components, systems, and assemblies using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD)Conducting feasibility studies and analyzing design concepts to ensure functionality, performance, and manufacturabilityCollaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and project managers, to develop innovative solutionsPerforming detailed calculations, simulations, and stress analyses to validate designs and optimize performanceCreating and maintaining technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and design reportsParticipating in prototype development, testing, and validation activities, both in the lab and on the fieldStaying updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in vehicle design and engineeringRequirementsRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferredProven experience (X years) in mechanical design, preferably in the automotive or transportation industryProficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools for design and analysisStrong knowledge of vehicle systems and components, including chassis, powertrain, suspension, and body structureFamiliarity with relevant regulations and standards governing vehicle design and safety (e.g., FMVSS, ECE, ISO)Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailEffective communication and teamwork abilitiesAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
