Responsibilities:Design, develop, and test mechanical systems and components to meet project specifications.Perform detailed engineering calculations, simulations, and analysis.Create and review technical drawings, schematics, and specifications using CAD software.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and project management, to ensure seamless execution of projects.Evaluate and improve existing systems, recommending modifications for enhanced performance and efficiency.Oversee the installation, operation, and maintenance of mechanical systems.Conduct research on new technologies and materials to integrate innovative solutions.Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations for internal and client review.Troubleshoot mechanical issues and provide timely solutions during the project lifecycle.Skills:Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, systems, and components.Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong project management and organizational abilities.Ability to interpret and create technical drawings and blueprints.Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.Effective communication skills to collaborate with teams and present ideas.Hands-on experience with mechanical testing and analysis tools.Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (essential).3-5 years of experience in mechanical design, development, or related roles.Professional registration (ECSA or equivalent) is advantageous.Experience in [industry-specific applications, e.g., manufacturing, HVAC, automotive, etc.].Knowledge of materials science and manufacturing processes is a plus.Familiarity with simulation software such as ANSYS or MATLAB is desirable.Strong understanding of safety protocols and risk management in engineering projects.Salary: RMarket relatedJob Reference #: 1146275
