MANUFACTURING OR STEEL INDUSTRY Qualifications & RequirementsArtisan qualificationDegree in mechanical engineering or equivalentSound understanding of maintenance systems (CMMS)Minimum of 3 years'experience working in a manufacturing environmentCompetenciesCreating standard operating procedures for plant equipment and machinery.Keeping track of critical inventory spares.Monitoring and ensuring compliance with all ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001.Duties and ResponsibilitiesTo design efficient strategies and fix equipment failuresDesigning of both mechanical and electrical drawings or facility layouts as assigned from time to time.Create preventive maintenance plans and train other employees to follow specific guidelines to avoid any future problemsHandling any documentation related to work tasks performed by the maintenance teamReport on activities, supplies, planned projects and make the necessary recommendations to the maintenance manager
