Mechanical Engineer

Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and optimize mechanical components and assemblies with a focus on sheet metal fabrication. Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar). Collaborate with the product development team to integrate sheet metal designs into larger systems. Conduct feasibility studies and design reviews to ensure manufacturability and cost-effectiveness. Work closely with manufacturing and suppliers to ensure that designs are accurately produced. Conduct stress and tolerance analysis to ensure design integrity. Provide support throughout the product lifecycle, from concept to production. Continuously improve design processes and suggest innovations in sheet metal technologies. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in mechanical design, with a focus on sheet metal design. Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Creo. Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and other engineering analysis tools. Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and assembly techniques related to sheet metal. Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing). Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on innovation and practical solutions. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
