MANUFACTURING OR STEEL INDUSTRY Qualifications & Requirements Artisan qualification Degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent Sound understanding of maintenance systems (CMMS) Minimum of 3 years'''' experience working in a manufacturing environment Competencies Creating standard operating procedures for plant equipment and machinery. Keeping track of critical inventory spares. Monitoring and ensuring compliance with all ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001. Duties and Responsibilities To design efficient strategies and fix equipment failures Designing of both mechanical and electrical drawings or facility layouts as assigned from time to time. Create preventive maintenance plans and train other employees to follow specific guidelines to avoid any future problems Handling any documentation related to work tasks performed by the maintenance team Report on activities, supplies, planned projects and make the necessary recommendations to the maintenance manager
