Job ScopeThe scope of this role will require the incumbent to work in a projects-based environment covering all phases of project execution (feasibility, concept, basic, detail, construction support and commissioning). The individual will engage in mechanical design activities related to producing and checking mechanical engineering deliverables.
Minimum RequirementsEducationBSc Mechanical Engineering Degree or B Tech Degree. Must be registered with the Engineering Council of SA (ECSA) or be in the process of registration.
Additional Educational RequirementsHave a working knowledge of the MS Office suite as well as proficiency in the use of software programs for Pressure Vessels design and preparation of technical equipment specifications.
Courses on different types of pumps, compressors and seal systems, pressure vessels, heat exchangers and tanks are essential.
Knowledge of the Statutory requirements for pressure vessels and pressurised equipment (PER and SANS 347) is a pre-requisite for this role.
Work Experience3-5 Years' minimum applicable experience.
