Job Opportunity: Mechanical Engineer
Top consulting firm is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their Durban, Cape Town, or Johannesburg office. This role involves providing a consulting engineering service for the design, implementation, and close-out of HVAC systems. Tasks include inception, detail design, documentation and procurement, construction, site monitoring, and project close-out.
Responsibilities:

BSc/ BEng./ BTech. in Mechanical Engineering
Proficient in HVAC design and commissioning systems in accordance with local and international standards
Proficient in air-conditioning heat load and ventilation calculations
Excellent understanding of SANS
Proficient in HVAC Design software packages
Proficient in various HVAC modeling software and BIM conversant (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.)
Experience in Wet Services and Fire Engineering will be advantageous
Professionally registered or eligible for registration
