The individual will engage in mechanical design activities related to producing and checking mechanical engineering deliverables.Minimum RequirementsEducation:BSc Mechanical Engineering Degree or BEng Mechanical Degree. Must be registered with the Engineering Council of SA (ECSA) or be in the process of registration.Additional Educational Requirements:Have a working knowledge of the MS Office suite as well as proficiency in the use of software programs for Pressure Vessels design and preparation of technical equipment specifications.Essential Courses:Courses on different types of pumps, compressors and seal systems, pressure vessels, heat exchangers and tanks are essential.Knowledge Requirements:Knowledge of the Statutory requirements for pressure vessels and pressurised equipment (PER and SANS 347) is a pre-requisite for this role.Work Experience:3-5 Years' minimum applicable experience.
