Mechanical, Electrical Project Coordinator

Project Coordination: Manage and coordinate mechanical and electrical project activities, ensuring that all work is completed on schedule, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.Planning and Scheduling: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, identifying critical milestones and coordinating with internal and external teams to ensure timely delivery.Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and support for M&E systems, including wet serv, plumbing, electrical installations, and other related services.Budget Management: Assist in the preparation and monitoring of project budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions are implemented without compromising quality.Vendor Management: Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure the procurement and delivery of materials and services align with project requirements.Quality Control: Oversee quality control processes, conducting regular inspections to ensure that all M&E work complies with relevant codes, standards, and project specifications.Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure that all M&E project activities comply with health and safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment for all team members.Reporting: Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management, highlighting progress, risks, and any issues that require attention. Qualifications and Experience:Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.Minimum of 8 years of experience in mechanical and electrical project coordination within the construction industry.Strong understanding of M&E systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical installations.Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD, Revit).Knowledge of relevant building codes, standards, and regulations.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
