Mechanical Design / Manufacturing Engineer

We are a Family Group of High Technology Organizations situated in the peaceful rural town of Somerset East, Eastern Cape by choice. We Design and Manufacture Machinery and Equipment for Automotive and Green Energy Companies, from Design thru Mechanical and Electrical -Electronic Manufacture to Commissioning. We deal with sophisticated Automotive AND Green Energy Companies Internationally and in South Africa. We have a vacancy for Mechanical Design/Manufacturing Engineer (Mechatronic Engineers who are sufficiently mechanically skilled and hands on may also apply - we handle diverse projects - activities definitely vary between projects) Duties included but not limited to the following: - - Doing Shop Drawings - Assisting with Design Work to support in overflow scenarios - Installation Management - Artisan Guidance and Control - Project Management - Commissioning - Fault Finding This is a high technical level appointment and provides the opportunity to work with World Class Design Engineers. Given the customers and project technical level we handle, the position offers serious reputational experience in addition to a lifestyle location. Academic Qualifications - B Eng (Mechanical/Mechatronics) Stellenbosch or Similar Required Experience - 3 years Hands On experience in a Similar Position - Familiar with AutoCAD/Inventor - Hands On Artisan Control/Installation & Commissioning - Hands On Project Management
