Ensuring components are procured and quality assessed during the acquisition phaseEnsure suppliers confirm to all requirements, as set out in project specificationsEXPERIENCE & QUALIFICAITIONS(Post-) Graduate degree in Mechanical/ Design Engineering / N-Dip in Mechanical/ Design Engineering or B-Tech Degree in Mechanical/ Design Engineering5 - 7 years of experience in Mechanical Design EngineeringPrevious experience in the military vehicle design environment will be advantageousStrong knowledge of electrical design principles, systems and componentsSOFTWARE CAPABILITYo Proficient in electrical design software or relevant Onshape and SW PackagesOTHER REQUIREMENTSStrong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team membersStrong knowledge of product design principles and techniquesExperience with prototyping, testing, and validation of designsExcellent communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAttention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
