Mechanical Design Engineer

Requirements: Suitable Mechanical Engineering qualification 5 years experience, preferably with Solid Works or similar 2D & 3D Cad Package.
Advanced MS Excel knowledge Knowledge of Road Traffic Acts/Laws/ HTM Weight Distribution modelling expertise Knowledge of Commercial vehicles and Trailer design would be an advantage.
Failure analysis (FEA) knowledge would be an advantage.
Responsibilities: Geometric Modelling using 2D & 3D Cad design software.
Production pack compilation.
Manage and maintain the Bill of Material for various builds.
Project management Product design and development.
Manage spreadsheet models.
