Mechanical Design Engineer

Requirements: Suitable Mechanical Engineering qualification5 years experience, preferably with Solid Works or similar 2D & 3D Cad Package.Advanced MS Excel knowledgeKnowledge of Road Traffic Acts/Laws/HTM Weight Distribution modelling expertiseKnowledge of Commercial vehicles and Trailer design would be an advantage.Failure analysis (FEA) knowledge would be an advantage.Responsibilities:Geometric Modelling using 2D & 3D Cad design software.Production pack compilation.Manage and maintain the Bill of Material for various builds.Project managementProduct design and development.Manage spreadsheet models.
