Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Description:Designs efficient solutions that prioritize simplicity, feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and accuracyCreates assemblies and detailed manufacturing drawings in compliance with recognized industry standardsPrepares part specifications, Bill of Materials, production orders, and manualsImplements engineering change proposals in design updatesIssues revisions and updates manufacturing drawings, material lists, and machine manualsDesigns layout drawings for customer manufacturing areasDrafts P&IDProvides technical support during manufacturing processes and for on-site techniciansSkills & Experience: At least 3 years of experience in machine design and manufacturingMinimum of 2 years of experience using CAD softwareProficient in MS Word, MS Excel, and 2D CADSkilled in 3D CAD machine designCapable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a teamWilling and able to travel both nationally and internationallyDemonstrates a positive attitude, is self-motivated, and reliableQualification:A minimum requirement of a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
