Accurately diagnose and repair machines and generators.
Ensure machines and generators are maintained to meet all manufacturer service requirements.
Effective self-management and performance ownership.
Identification, reporting, and feedback on product problems and implement corrective measures.
Build and sustain excellent customer relationships.
Sell parts and services to internal and external customers.
Provide specialist advice on all customer requirements and implement corrective measures.
Must have generator experience.
Must be able to rebuild components and large generator engines.
Must be able to remove and install generator alternators and be able to do alignment.
Must be flexible to work away from home and to work in Lesotho.

Qualification, Experience and Competencies

Grade 12 or equivalent.
Qualification in relevant trade (e.g., Diesel Mechanic/Earth Moving Equipment Mechanic) NQF 3.
Computer literate.
CAT Machine specific technical knowledge and skills.
Sound interpretation of communication skills.
Basic technical report writing.
Basic business and financial understanding.
Some computer literacy (SIS, STW & ET) knowledge.
Applicable product knowledge, failure analysis, and customer orientation.
Driver's license – Code B.
Understanding of supplier warranty systems, policies & procedures.
