Key Performance Areas: Planning, scheduling and quality assurance of preventative maintenance. Schedule, manage and control repairs and handling of breakdowns. Execution of repairs to fleet. Servicing of vehicles. Inspection of vehicles. Inspection of lifting equipment. Manage and control stockholding of tyres, parts and consumables. Cost control and administration. Technical procurement. Technical supervision and administration. Sourcing and procuring of items for repairs and services. General assistance with assembly plant, driving tasks, general maintenance and any other functions to ensure continuation of operations / maintain the upkeep of the company. Health and safety. Health and safety compliance and care of tools. Management of Human Resources (subordinates). Requirements: Grade 12 Qualified diesel mechanic. Heavy commercial vehicle working experience and license Foreman / Supervisory experience Fleet management and maintenance.
