Job DescriptionAn exciting opportunity has become available in our Maintenance department for a Sewing machine Mechanic.ResponsibilitiesRepair and maintain a range of industrial sewing machines allied sewing equipmentSet up and test run a range of industrial sewing machines allied sewing equipmentKeep maintenance records and update maintenance reportsConduct running maintenanceAssist and coach learner mechanicsMaintain and collect technical data for machinery and equipmentAdhere and manage preventative maintenance program on minor and major tasksFolder repairAssist with other tasks within the maintenance departmentRequirements+/- 3-4 years' experience in Industrial Sewing machine maintenance in clothing production environmentNQF4 Qualification in repairs and maintenance sewing machine or equivalent qualification (advantageous)Have the ability to work in a team and additional hours as requestedMust be able to work in a pressurized environmentMust be able to read and write in EnglishMust have a target driven and quick turnaround approachPreference will be given, but not limited to, candidates from designated groups in terms of the Employment Equity Act.Applications can be emailed to: ****** & ****** UsWho we are is because of our people.
