Job Title: MEA Mine HSEQ Online, BP and Drivers HSSE Co-Ordinator

PURPOSE OF POSITION
This role is essential for maintaining HSSE standards and ensuring regulatory compliance across mine sites, BP engagements, and driver operations. By managing these responsibilities effectively, the coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring that the company operates safely and remains compliant with both internal and external HSSE requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Mine HSEQ Online System:
Ensures, daily, that operations meet the Mine HSEQ Online System percentages requirement.
Responsible for the daily uploading of all necessary HSSE (Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental) documentation on the Mine HSEQ Online System.
Responsible to obtain all necessary HSSE (Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental) documentation from stakeholders required by the Mine HSEQ Online System.
BP HSSE Compliance:
Review, daily and implement HSSE requirements lodged by BP on the ComplyWorks system.
Attend BP meetings, workshops, etc. and communicate and implement any new or revised HSSE requirements.
Ensure technicians meet BP HSSE requirements and upload the required documentation on the ComplyWorks system.
Facilitate BP required training.
Driver Behavior:
Ensure all drivers receive training and sign the Drivers Policy.
Ensure all drivers receive training and sign the Drivers Pledge.
Monitor driver licenses and escalate any expired licenses.
Review daily driver reports and escalate incidents of unsafe behavior.
Track corrective actions taken by managers to mitigate further unsafe driving behavior.
Record all driver behavior in accordance with the required standards.
Legal Appointments:
Update the Legal Appointment Register.
Ensure that all necessary employees are legally appointed to carry out specific HSSE responsibilities in accordance with local laws and industry standards.
Ensure that all the necessary documentation for legal appointments is gathered and uploaded.
Ensure that all employees who are legally appointed have valid training certificates.
DELEGATION OF AUTHORITY
As per Board-approved DOA and as necessary for functions outside the DOA, as delegated by the Head of HSSE Department, when necessary.

PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Education / Achievement
Grade 12
Experience / Knowledge
At least 2 years of experience in an administrative role within the petroleum and mining sectors.
Hands-on experience with the Mine Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) online system, including the uploading and management of daily documentation for multiple mine sites.
Experience in handling BP-specific HSSE requirements through platforms such as ComplyWorks, ensuring prompt resolution and adherence to safety and environmental standards.
Experience in tracking and analyzing driver behavior reports, focusing on identifying and escalating unsafe driving practices.
Skilled in the administration and updating of legal appointments as required under health, safety, and environmental regulations.
