Your profile and competencies to succeed
The Maintenance Graduate will be responsible for completing all tasks assigned by the maintenance management team.
They will assist with scheduling, executing and following up on equipment maintenance activities as well as ordering and ensuring spare part stock on hand is maintained.
Minimum education level:
Diploma/ Degree in technical field.
Skills and competencies:
Previous experience in a technical field would be an advantage.
Strong analytical skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Superb time management and professionalism.
A growth mindset and willingness to accept criticism.
A valid driver's license may be required.
Your mission, roles and responsibilities
The main missions of the role are:
Participate in Production System Efficiency and Quality System Efficiency workshops to support continuous improvement: propose and implement continuous productivity, process and quality improvement actions for all facilities
Set up requisitions for supplies, equipment and facilities. Track PO's and follow-up on payment and GRN
Participate in the management of the inventory of spare parts and consumables to eliminate downtime
Track the ratio of expenses against budget and monitor quality, cost and delivery objectives given to external companies when intervening : subcontracting, ordinary and major maintenance actions, energy, security systems.
Liaise with suppliers to get quotes for spares/equipment needed
Assist maintenance technicians with the installation, repair and maintenance of all equipment and facilities
