Material Planner (Spares)

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: This includes internal reporting systems, product procurement and distribution, and the general streamlining of business operations. Find patterns — and value — in the company and industry data and deliver insights to maximise business performance.
TASKS:

Monitor exchange rates to ensure Standard Cost factor is in line with PPV requirements.
Update Supplier Contract Price Masterfile with most current Supplier Pricelists.
Use MRP and Backorder App to calculate suggested orders.
Create and Maintain SKU's.
Receive and confirm Proforma Invoice and send to Finance for payment.
Maintain shipping register for KYMCO and Indian Motorcycle shipments.
Prepare LCT for receipt by balancing to Invoice and Purchase Order.
If necessary, manually bin stock for warehouse on Syspro.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS TO PERFORM ROLE: Matric, Minimum 3 years' experience with Data Analysis.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION: B Comm / B Comm Computer Sciences.
MINIMUM PERIOD OF EXPERIENCE/ TRAINING: Three years in a sales role including a working knowledge of motorcycle products, accessories, and components and/or previous experience in the automotive component sector.
PREFERRED EXPERIENTIAL/ TRAINING BACKGROUND: Motorcycle, automotive, or other parts/accessories/components environment.
