Various forms of technology are used including but not limited to scanners, PC and tablets.
The objective of the position is to ensure that all areas have the appropriate supplies needed for assembly at the proper time, while maintaining inventory accuracy.Job Description:Operates various forms of PIV equipment to receive, deliver and store suppliesObtains work order to determine parts needed and delivery locationRetrieves sub-assemblies and parts from storage locationsLoads carts with required partsStages completed carts in designated locationUses a scanner and/or tablet to manage transactions, transfer parts, perform inventory inquiries, maintenance counts, report outagesReturns unused parts, empty containers, empty carts to designated storage/replenishment locationMoves completed assemblies or boxed furniture into designated locationsFollows health and safety standardsMaintains a clean workplace following 5S standardsPerforms other tasks as assignedJob Requirements:Equivalent combination of education and experience to perform the above dutiesBasic reading and writing skillsBasic math knowledgeBasic computer skillsAbility to scan effectively to maintain accurate inventory levelsAchieve performance standardsMaintain PIV license as neededOUR PURPOSE: We are La-Z-Boy Incorporated.
