DESCRIPTION We are looking for a talented Master Rebuild Centre Leader to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Distribution Business Unit in Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: Enhancing Operational Efficiency: By leading a cross-functional team, you'll ensure plant operations are fast, reliable, and efficient.
Building Strong Customer Relationships: Your leadership will help develop and maintain relationships that meet and exceed customer needs.
Driving Continuous Improvement: Managing all plant functions, you'll focus on meeting deliverables and driving ongoing improvements.
Promoting Company Values: You'll lead the implementation of Cummins values, processes, and procedures, fostering a positive work environment.
Developing Plant Staff: Through coaching and development, you'll enhance the skills and capabilities of the plant staff.
Strategic Planning: You'll develop and execute the strategy, goals, and deliverables for the entire plant, aligning with broader company objectives.
Optimizing Supply Chain Interactions: Leading the integration between the plant and the overall supply chain, you'll ensure smooth operations and effective communication.
Community Engagement: Managing community involvement initiatives, you'll strengthen the plant's relationship with the local community.
RESPONSIBILITIES To be successful in this role you will need the following: Cross-Functional Excellence: The ability to clearly define roles and responsibilities within your team and facilitate regular discussions to identify and implement improvement opportunities.
Complexity Management: Skills to navigate and make sense of complex, high-volume, and sometimes contradictory information to solve problems effectively.
Strategic Planning: A strategic mindset to foresee future possibilities and translate them into actionable, breakthrough strategies.
Planning and Alignment: Strong planning and prioritization skills to ensure that work commitments are met and aligned with the organization's goals.
QUALIFICATIONS Education/ Experience: College, university, or equivalent degree required.
MBA will be advantageous
Significant level of relevant work experience, including managerial, leadership, budgetary, and cross-functional experience, required.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
