Our client in Dubai is seeking a Mason Foreman who is prepared to relocate and become part of their dynamic team.Applicants from Northern Cape, Mpumalanga, Kwa-Zulu Natal (Durban) and Limpopo are encouraged to apply.Requirements:Relevant Diploma/Degree or equivalent.Must have a Bricklaying/similar trade test.Must have 3-4 years experience in a similar role.Must have experience in a management position.Must have a valid passport.Responsibilities:Oversee and coordinate the activities of masons and labourers on construction sites, ensuring work is completed efficiently and to high-quality standards.Plan and schedule masonry work in alignment with project timelines, ensuring that tasks are completed on schedule.Conduct regular inspections of masonry work to ensure compliance with specifications, standards, and safety regulations.Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret construction drawings and plans, providing guidance to the team on specific project requirements.Materials Management: Manage the ordering and delivery of materials, ensuring they are available when needed and stored properly on site.Training and Mentorship: Train and mentor less experienced masons and labourers, providing instruction on techniques, safety practices, and equipment usage.Problem-Solving: Identify and address any issues that arise during construction, finding effective solutions to maintain progress.Safety Compliance: Enforce health and safety regulations on site, conducting safety briefings and ensuring all team members use personal protective equipment (PPE).Communication: Liaise with project managers, other trades, and clients to provide updates on progress and address any concerns.Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of work progress, materials used, and any incidents that occur on site.
