The position of Parts Salesperson has become available at Dalton Toyota. This position will utilize knowledge and interpretation of parts on all vehicles with focus on excellent customer service. RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. SALES Order parts in accordance with standard operating procedures. To process stock and customers orders timeously. Compare all sales and GP targets to budget. Meet customer coverage targets. To stay inside discount parameters. 2. ADMINISTRATION That all parts are charged when issued. All returns not invoice and ensure credit notes are issued timeously. That all communications are done timeously. In progress report to show only current transactions. Selected training objectives in the set time frame. Order parts timeously. 3. HOUSEKEEPING That parts department is neat and tidy and includes marketing displays. That all parts are stored in accordance with standards. 4. RECEIVING AND BINNING That incoming goods are accurate, reporting all discrepancies and damages. All parts received accurately. Correct marking on parts to be binned. That binned parts are in saleable condition. Prime bins and replenish as required. Requirements: REQUIREMENTS: 1. Qualifications: Min: Grade 12 2. Experience: Knowledge of all vehicles and equipment 3. Legal Requirements: Drivers license 4. Key Competencies: Planning skills. Able to operate under pressure. Excellent skills in Microsoft 365: Outlook, Word, Excel. Time management. Excellent communication skills. Basic judgement and decision making skills. Basic sales skills.
