This is a position reporting to the Marketplace Operations Manager.
Your responsibilities will include Design and implement processes for the onboarding of new brands.Develop and implement initiatives to support brand development and growth.Negotiate and manage current growth incentive contracts, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives.Lead cross-functional teams to launch and manage new growth incentives for brands, aligning with our marketplace's integrity and appeal.Design and execute commercial solutions that incentivize brand investments in stock, marketing, and advertising, enhancing their visibility and success on our platform.Develop strategies for brand protection, including for sellers with approved trademarks, authorized resellers, and those with trademarks in progress.Collaborate with Legal, Promotions and Marketing teams to design features, services, and operational solutions that support brand investments and retention.Ensuring robust brand-level controls with sellersMonitor and report on the performance of growth, making strategic adjustments on incentives and/or current fees, to meet revenue targets and enhance the seller and Takealot brand profitability Attributes required Project Management skills and qualificationsStrong with data and analyticsStrong leadership and cross functional management skills with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Qualifications and Experience Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, or related fieldAdditional qualification in project management preferred3+ years of experience in e-commerce, retail, or brand marketingExperience in contracts, rebates and negotiationsProven ability to design and execute new processes, strategies, and commercial solutions The Environment and Company Culture: Takealot.com employees are entrepreneurial and dynamic, smart, customer-centric, fun and have the shared ambition of takealot.com being the leading e-commerce company in Africa.We have fun, work hard, take ownership, work in teams to create solutions, and are always open to direct feedback/new ideas on where we can improveWe are short on ego and high on outputWe are doers and not only thinkers, it's all in the execution after allWe love what we do and what we are creating We seek to Employ an Extra Ordinary Mind who:
