Role Purpose/Business Unit: To deliver and execute on the segments marketing plan, across the various businessunits in the region. To drive operational initiatives within the region to drive market growth throughdata-driven insights and competitor analysis, in order to shape innovative campaigns and enhancebrand positioning
Your responsibilities will include: Planning, execution and evaluation ofregional segment marketing plans andimplementation into the channels Drive brand objectives with external serviceagents, media, and other key role players. Report on monthly advertising, sales, andpromotion budgets, track to ensure positiveROI. Conduct post campaign evaluations on allpromotional and marketing activations todetermine implementation effectivenessand return. Monitor the use of the Vodacom brand atevents, sponsorships, and promotions forconsistent application and visibility, ensuringcompliance according to CI, standards,policies, and procedures Provide support with regional advertisingand branding – billboards, branding rollouts,pop-up store locations, regional radiostations etc. To conduct comprehensive market analysesto identify trends, assess competitorlandscapes, and leverage insights for targeted campaigns, and ensuring sustained growth and competitive positioning. In depth understanding of / andimplementation of segmentation acrossbusiness units within the region Brief in artwork and drive bookings andexecution of schedule as per Segmentrequirement Book media for all regional adverts across allbusiness units Drive ATL (above the line) and BTL (belowthe line) campaigns to support Channel andVB Sales To drive and support national campaigns forthe region. Responsible for implementing channeldeals, trade activations, pricing andpropositions within region Post-paid regional deals to be developedand implemented Utilize insights provided by the Insightsteam and propose and implement solutionsto ensure gap closure through thedevelopment of competitor activity plans The Ideal Candidate for this role will have: Must have technical / professional qualifications: Matric / Grade 12, and 3-year commercial/marketing/sales diploma or degree (NQF 6 or higher) orSAQA accredited equivalent with3-5 years relevant experience (essential) Valid Driver's license (essential) Core competencies, knowledge, and experience: At least 3 – 5 years' experience in brandmanagement, retail marketing and sales Functional Marketing experience across ATL,BTL, experiential marketing, media, PR, etc Analytics to measure effectiveness ofmarketing. Critical Thinking and problem-solving decision making.
