We are assisting our client in recruiting for a Marketing Specialist who will assist the General Manager of Marketing with the planning, implementation, coordination, and execution of marketing campaigns within the department.
This role requires a self-motivated, team-oriented, and organised individual who understands the role of marketing and sales within an organisation.
The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for implementing and refining marketing strategies, managing campaigns, and providing insights to ensure the company's marketing efforts are effective.
Key Responsibilities Microsoft Programme Management : Coordinate and execute multiple reseller channel campaigns and events over a 6–12-month agreement with Microsoft.
Engage with resellers before and after events to ensure timely follow-up and execution of agreed campaign plans.
Track and monitor customer engagement activities and pipeline results, providing regular performance insights to align with objectives and improve engagement strategies within this programme.
Marketing Campaign Management: Coordinate and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns, ensuring timelines, budgets, and objectives are met.
This includes event planning, logistics management, invitations, and promotional materials.
Budget Management: Monitor marketing budgets to ensure cost-effective campaign execution.
Collaboration: Work with product teams, sales staff, and marketing suppliers to align strategies with business goals.
Coordinate with the Digital Specialist on content creation for websites and social media platforms.
This includes coordinating and scheduling email campaigns for our brands.
Skills & Qualifications Marketing Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of marketing experience, preferably within the Information Technology (hardware or software) sector.
Project Management: Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and projects simultaneously.
Education: A degree or higher diploma in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
Familiarity with the B2B IT landscape in South Africa is a plus.
Sales & Marketing: Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
