Job Title: Marketing Communication Specialist in Africa
The Position Reports to: MD or Marketing/Business Development Manager

Targets of the Position
This position is responsible for developing and executing B2B marketing strategies that maximize lead generation and drive sales to help the company reach new customers and retain existing ones. The marketing person is responsible for establishing the company brand in South Africa and Sub-Sahara Africa.
Tasks
Being the ambassador of the brand within the organization and towards the market.
Create and maintain a roadmap of marketing activities and campaigns.
Design, plan, and execute effective marketing campaigns, in cooperation with sales, BI, product management, and third parties.
Organize events and exhibitions at industry events, within the company and in key customers.
Manage the overall digital marketing strategy, including the company's social media accounts and online content.
Report on the performance of marketing campaigns in order to make adjustments to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Conduct monthly gap analyses (target vs. actual) of the key performance indicators for lead generation and marketing.
Manage marketing budgets and oversee all aspects of the company's marketing activities.
Direct communication with marcom from headquarters as well as with colleagues in the same area from other subsidiaries.
Stay up to date with the latest technology and best practices.
Close cooperation with inbound sales/customer service to guarantee that leads from new prospects are converted into sales.
Minimum Requirements
Education:
Bachelor or master's degree within Marketing, Management, or similar.
Professional Know-How:
Experience in B2B marketing and sales.
Hands-on experience with CRM and SEO tools like Google Analytics, Google Adwords, etc.
Hands-on experience in the creation of social media content as well as with paid social tools like Facebook and LinkedIn.
Personal Skills:
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Fluent in written and spoken English.
Experience
At least 5 years of experience in B2B marketing.
Other Requirements
Strong interpersonal skills in order to coordinate effectively with other departments within the organization.
Highly self-motivated.
