Duties & ResponsibilitiesA dynamic EdTech company seeks the expertise of a forward-thinking Marketing Specialist who will be responsible for the overall development, implementation, and management of comprehensive marketing and communication plans to drive revenue growth and enhance brand reputation and visibility in the industry. The role involves coordinating various marketing functions, overseeing branding standards, and ensuring the quality of marketing content across different channels. The ideal candidate must have a suitable Degree/Diploma in Commercial/Marketing or a similar field, with preferably 3 years of Marketing/Brand Management work experience, including Social Media Marketing and proficiency with Adobe InDesign and Acrobat. Any experience leading projects and TVET knowledge will prove beneficial. Local travel will be expected.DUTIES:Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and optimising market opportunities.Lead the development and implementation of innovative digital marketing strategies, managing social media platforms to enhance brand visibility and engagement.Safeguard and enhance the company's brand image through the implementation of brand guidelines, ensuring consistency across all communication channels.Plan and execute diverse events to promote brand awareness, coordinating logistics, sponsorships, and partnerships for successful outcomes.Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders, collaborating with internal and external partners to align objectives and exceed expectations.Ensure marketing activities adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards, implementing robust governance processes to manage risks associated with marketing initiatives.REQUIREMENTS:Qualifications -Relevant Degree or Diploma (e.g. Commercial or Marketing) at a minimum.Experience/Skills -3 Years' Marketing or Brand Management experience advantageous.Social Media marketing experience.Experience leading projects will be beneficial.TVET knowledge advantageous.Knowledge of Adobe InDesign and Acrobat.Driver's licence and own reliable transport.Will be required to travel locally.ATTRIBUTES:Tolerance for and ability to work under stress and stringent deadlines.Innovative, creative team player with a desire to learn new skills.Thrive in a fast-moving environment, thinking laterally and creatively.Self-motivated and independent worker.Assess and address problems and implement creative and cost-effective solutions.
