About the role
We are seeking a dynamic Mall Marketing Manager to oversee and coordinate all aspects of on-site marketing initiatives. This pivotal role involves formulating and executing sustainable marketing and brand strategies, driving public relations and communication policies, and effectively managing the outputs of the marketing and information team. As a key representative of Centre management, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the Mall's brand presence and customer engagement.
What you will bring
Minimum Grade 12
Degree in Marketing, business administration or similar qualification
Between 3 – 5 years of relevant experience, Retail management sector or similar role
Proficiency in computer applications including MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint).
A working knowledge of market research techniques
Advanced financial skills, including budget control
Familiarity with social media and web analytics
Excellent English written and spoken communication skills
Strong organisational and time management skills
In-depth knowledge of marketing best practices
Working knowledge of demographics, target markets, mix of use

Manage and control marketing expenditures in alignment with strategy.

Act as the brand custodian for the shopping mall.
Supervise and support the marketing team, overseeing their performance.
Plan and implement promotions and events to enhance brand awareness.
Cultivate media relations and oversee publicity efforts.
Strategize and oversee promotion court sales activities.
Coordinate the Mall's CSI (Corporate Social Investment) program.
Ensuring a formal tenant relationship plan that effectively aligns with the strategy.
Initiating tenant training, workshops, service audits, and awards programs as required.
Implementing a research strategy and overseeing appointed service providers.
Ensuring effective communication plans, including regular tenant newsletters and updates.
Submitting detailed monthly reports for Mall owner packs and as required.
Ensuring that monthly marketing newsletters are detailed, comprehensive, and submitted in good order.
