Marketing Manager

Our client is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Manager to support global marketing operations.
This individual will assist in executing marketing strategies, coordinating campaigns, managing a small administrative team, and overseeing projects to enhance brand visibility and achieve business objectives.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the ideal candidate will be proactive, creative, and equipped with strong leadership, analytical, and organizational skills.
This role is based onsite in Morningside, Durban.
Responsibilities Marketing Strategy Support: Assist in developing and implementing marketing strategies aligned with company goals.
Collaborate with the Head of Marketing to plan campaigns targeting local and regional markets.
Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a small team of marketing administrators.
Allocate tasks, provide guidance, and ensure team members achieve objectives.
Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
Campaign Management: Coordinate and monitor marketing campaigns across digital, print, and event channels.
Analyse campaign performance and provide optimization insights.
Content Creation and Management: Oversee the production of marketing materials, ensuring alignment with brand tone and guidelines.
Manage content for brochures, social media, newsletters, and websites.
Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and opportunities.
Use insights to enhance customer engagement and guide strategy.
Event Coordination: Organize and manage promotional events, exhibitions, and product launches.
Collaborate with vendors, agencies, and internal teams to ensure seamless execution.
Digital Marketing: Manage social media accounts, website, and email marketing campaigns.
Contribute to paid media campaigns and SEO strategies.
Budget Management: Assist in managing the marketing budget and track expenses efficiently.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Liaise with internal teams, external stakeholders, and partners to build strong relationships.
Performance Reporting: Prepare regular reports on marketing activities and campaign performance for senior management.
Key Skills Proficient in digital marketing tools, analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics), and CRM systems.
Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is an advantage.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a marketing role.
Proven track record of coordinating marketing campaigns, managing a team, and overseeing projects.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
