Key Responsibilities:
The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and implementing strategic marketing strategies & plans for the Organisation to achieve business objectives and drive brand growth. This role involves leading all marketing campaigns, analysing market trends, and managing a team of marketing professionals to retain current donors and obtain new ones.
Duties and Tasks:

Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to increase brand visibility, market share, and stakeholder engagement.
Campaign Management: Oversee the creation and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels, ensuring effective communication to attract and retain donors.
Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, needs, and competitive landscape.
Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of marketing professionals.
Budget Management: Develop and manage the marketing budget.
Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyse the performance of marketing campaigns.
Brand Management: Ensure consistent brand messaging across all marketing channels.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to align marketing efforts with overall business goals.
Content Creation: Oversee the development of marketing materials.
Event Management: Plan and coordinate marketing events.
Reporting: Update management on the progress of marketing activities.

Budget-management skills and proficiency.
Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Proficiency in marketing software and tools.
Ability to analyse data and generate actionable insights.
Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
Strong organisational and project management skills.
Professional judgment and discretion.
Analytical skills to forecast and identify trends.
Familiarity with the latest trends in graphic design, web design, production, etc.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Excellent knowledge of MS Excel.
Experience in a donor-funded organisation / NGO is a plus.
Excellent project management and coordination skills.
Experience in training and development of material.
Report writing ability.
Risk management skills.
Strong administrative skills.
Excellent telephone etiquette.
Effective presenting and communication skills.
Ability to work in a demanding, multi-task environment.
Attention to detail and extreme accuracy.
Keep abreast with all activities and projects within the organisation.
A positive attitude and high level of problem-solving proficiency.
Strong knowledge and background on the organisation.
Understanding of current marketing trends, digital marketing strategies, and brand management.

Education and Work Experience:
A bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field is required. MBA or advanced degree is a plus. 8 years plus experience in Marketing preferably in an NGO sector, with 5 years in a managerial role.
Willing to travel as necessary.
