Proven experience as marketing manager (Retail) or similar role.

A clear understanding of demographic, target market, local area, mix of use etc, and use your expertise to devise and deliver a strategy and calendar of events that drives footfall, occupancy and enhances the brand of the centre.
Good understanding of market research techniques, data analysis and statistics methods.
Must have a driver's license and own car.
Must be familiar with emerging markets.
What you will be doing You will be responsible for the following: Developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to enhance the visibility, reputation, and foot traffic of the retail shopping centre.
This role involves working closely with tenants, community partners, and internal teams to create and implement effective marketing campaigns, events, and promotions that drive sales and engagement.
Manage the marketing function of the Centre.
Oversee event logistics, including budgeting, vendor management, and on-site coordination.
Plan and execute in-centre events and promotions, including seasonal sales, special events, and grand openings.
Liaison between the managing agent and the media, promoting public relations and corporate image.
Co-ordinate the Centre marketing and event management functions.
Create and execute an annual marketing plan that will make a difference to the centre/s in which the employee operates.
Promote our tenants, the customer journey and brand image through a strong arsenal of techniques and methods.
Develop an abundance of ideas for building efficient strategies.
Reach out to the market, cultivate customers' interest and enhance their experience with our tenants and services in ways that strengthen our reputation and facilitate our continuous growth.
Interface/Relationships with: Internal – Centre Manager, Portfolio Manager, Financial Manager.
External – Client, Advertising Agency, Public Relations Agency, Media, Customers, and Public.
