The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth for the Company as they expand their presence in the wellness industry. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the market, strong leadership skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment. A crucial aspect of this role involves a deep understanding of peri-urban and informal settlement economic environments, where much of our target market is located. The role will also involve occasional travel as part of the job requirements. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans to support business objectives and drive growth as we expand our operations Oversee the creation and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, print, and events Manage and lead a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and customer service, to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging and branding Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities, trends, and the competitive landscape in the wellness industry, with a particular focus on peri-urban and informal settlement areas. Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, using data-driven insights to optimize strategies and achieve KPIs Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and agencies to enhance marketing efforts Qualifications Bachelor''s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master''s degree is a plus Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, with a proven track record of success in the wellness or a related industry Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including SEO, SEM, social media, and email marketing Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and staying ahead of industry trends Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment, balancing remote and in-office responsibilities Demonstrated experience and understanding of marketing to consumers in peri-urban and informal settlement economic environments. Experience in the wellness industry or a regulated industry is highly desirable
