The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth for the Company as they expand their presence in the wellness industry.This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the market, strong leadership skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment. A crucial aspect of this role involves a deep understanding of peri-urban and informal settlement economic environments, where much of our target market is located. The role will also involve occasional travel as part of the job requirements.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans to support business objectives and drive growth as we expand our operationsOversee the creation and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, print, and eventsManage and lead a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance, support, and performance feedbackCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and customer service, to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging and brandingConduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities, trends, and the competitive landscape in the wellness industry, with a particular focus on peri-urban and informal settlement areas.Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, using data-driven insights to optimize strategies and achieve KPIsDevelop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resourcesBuild and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and agencies to enhance marketing effortsQualificationsBachelor''s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master''s degree is a plusMinimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, with a proven track record of success in the wellness or a related industryStrong leadership and team management skillsExcellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skillsProficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including SEO, SEM, social media, and email marketingAnalytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisionsCreative thinker with a passion for innovation and staying ahead of industry trendsAbility to work effectively in a hybrid work environment, balancing remote and in-office responsibilitiesDemonstrated experience and understanding of marketing to consumers in peri-urban and informal settlement economic environments.Experience in the wellness industry or a regulated industry is highly desirable
