Duties:Oversee and manage the Sales function for the RegionProvide reports and analysis relevant to the sales activity for the regionReview and analyse vehicle markets and market share vs competitorsAnalyse, understand and report on competitor activity in detailInvolvement in the vehicle order process including order planning between dealer network and OEM'sManagement and oversight of vehicle pricing, in collaboration with the marketing and finance departments and OEM'sEnsure correct model mix, in close collaboration with OEM'sParticipate in the budget process relating to sales and target settingEnsure sales training is in place for region and conduct certain training periodicallyGeneral dealership audits / inspections of the dealership vehicle sales departmentsMonthly review of the dealership's sales performance vs. targets, and remedial actions where requiredInvolvement with dealer debtors and ensuring processes/limitations are being followedEnsure company policies/processes are being followed within the dealershipsAction plans for improvement of sales volumes and market share when requiredImplementation of ageing stock reduction initiatives and ensure specific actions plans are in placeReview of the dealership's C.S.I figures.
