Key Responsibilities:Strategic Marketing Planning:Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy for the African region aligned with global objectives.Conduct market research and analysis to identify market opportunities, customer needs, and competitive positioning.Set clear objectives and KPIs for marketing campaigns, with a focus on driving growth and brand recognition.Regional Marketing Execution:Lead marketing campaigns, product launches, and promotions tailored to regional markets in Africa.Manage digital marketing, PR, and communication strategies to ensure a strong presence across multiple channels.Oversee local adaptation of global marketing materials and messages, ensuring relevance to the African markets.Team and Stakeholder Management:Manage, coach, and mentor a regional marketing team, ensuring high performance and alignment with business goals.Collaborate closely with sales, product management, and global marketing teams to ensure consistency and effectiveness of marketing efforts.Engage with external stakeholders, including advertising agencies, media outlets, and event organizers.Budget Management:Manage the regional marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and achieving a strong return on investment (ROI).Track and report on campaign performance, analyzing metrics and making data-driven decisions to optimize future initiatives.Customer Relationship and Market Expansion:Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners across Africa.Support the sales team with marketing tools, collateral, and strategies that drive customer engagement and business development.Explore opportunities to expand into new markets, understanding regional regulations, market dynamics, and customer behavior.Market Analysis and Reporting:Regularly report on market trends, customer insights, and competitor activities to inform business strategies.Analyze sales data, marketing performance, and customer feedback to continuously refine marketing efforts.Key Qualifications and Experience:Education:Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.A relevant postgraduate qualification (e.g., MBA or Marketing Diploma) is an added advantage.Experience:Minimum of 6 years of experience in marketing, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial role, preferably in the manufacturing or industrial sectors.Proven experience in managing marketing operations.Demonstrated success in leading and managing a diverse team in a fast-paced, multinational environment.
